Video Club is an after-school program geared towards empowering students to tell their own stories through new media and art. In class we explore our media usage and dissect how videos are used to tell stories and alter the perception of the viewer. Students also storyboard, direct, and star in their own creations. Video Club will soon be transitioning online and is set to become a youth-led interview program-- interviewing city officials, activists, business owners, and citizens about the topics that the students care about.
